About Finpilot
Finpilot is the AI-native operating system for institutional capital.
Our customers decide where the long-term capital of the economy goes. They are the investment offices behind universities and governments, public pensions and foundations, hospital systems and insurers, families and asset managers, each managing tens to hundreds of billions of dollars. This is the capital that pays for research, medicine and retirement.
Those teams still work across five systems built before AI, with a person in the middle moving information between them by hand. The people trusted with these decisions spend most of their week assembling information instead of judging it.
We are rebuilding that from the ground up. Finpilot unifies every system and every document an investment office holds into a single shared brain, then runs AI agents on top of it. The agents do the work: the research, the analysis, the diligence, and the ongoing watch on every manager and every position. They run continuously in the background, at a depth no team could staff for, and bring people in for the decisions.

Some of the largest and most respected pools of capital in the country run on Finpilot today, and several have made it the core platform for their office. This is an industry that changes its software about once a generation, and it is changing now.
Finpilot is a Series A company backed by Madrona Venture Group and Lobby Capital. We are a small team with deep expertise in finance and technology. We bring decades of financial industry experience and have previously built fintech companies acquired by Nasdaq and ADP. For three years we have focused on the hardest part of applying AI to this industry: precision and accuracy, because the numbers we produce end up in front of investment committees.
The role
As Finpilot grows, so does everything behind the product: clients, contracts, hiring, finances and board work. You’ll run that side of the company.
You’ll work directly with our CEO across finance, legal, board work, hiring and the office, and you’ll see how a venture-backed company is built from the inside. We want our own operations to run the way we help our clients run theirs, with AI agents doing the routine work, and you’ll design and build that for Finpilot. As you take on more, the role grows into larger projects across the company.
What you’ll do
- Run invoicing, expenses and bookkeeping, and work with our accountants on taxes
- Manage contracts with clients, vendors and employees
- Prepare board meetings and follow through on what comes out of them
- Coordinate hiring and onboard new team members
- Run our Seattle office
- Build AI agents and automations that take routine work off the team
- Lead company-wide projects from start to finish
What we’re looking for
- A few years of experience in operations, finance, consulting or a similar role, ideally at a startup
- Experience across several areas such as bookkeeping, contracts, recruiting coordination or office management
- Experience using AI tools or building automations to make work faster
- Experience handling confidential information, such as financials or board materials
