About Finpilot

Finpilot is the AI-native operating system for institutional capital.

Our customers decide where the long-term capital of the economy goes. They are the investment offices behind universities and governments, public pensions and foundations, hospital systems and insurers, families and asset managers, each managing tens to hundreds of billions of dollars. This is the capital that pays for research, medicine and retirement.

Those teams still work across five systems built before AI, with a person in the middle moving information between them by hand. The people trusted with these decisions spend most of their week assembling information instead of judging it.

We are rebuilding that from the ground up. Finpilot unifies every system and every document an investment office holds into a single shared brain, then runs AI agents on top of it. The agents do the work: the research, the analysis, the diligence, and the ongoing watch on every manager and every position. They run continuously in the background, at a depth no team could staff for, and bring people in for the decisions.

Human intelligence where it counts. AI agents everywhere else.

Some of the largest and most respected pools of capital in the country run on Finpilot today, and several have made it the core platform for their office. This is an industry that changes its software about once a generation, and it is changing now.

Finpilot is a Series A company backed by Madrona Venture Group and Lobby Capital. We are a small team with deep expertise in finance and technology. We bring decades of financial industry experience and have previously built fintech companies acquired by Nasdaq and ADP. For three years we have focused on the hardest part of applying AI to this industry: precision and accuracy, because the numbers we produce end up in front of investment committees.

The role

Institutional investing runs on relationships and trust. The investment leaders we work with learn from each other, compare notes on what is working, and rely on people they know. Much of how institutions discover Finpilot today happens in person, through conversations at industry gatherings and introductions from people who already use it. We have never had a marketing function. You will build it.

You will help Finpilot show up thoughtfully where investment leaders already spend their time, and create new places for them to come together. That means a meaningful presence at the industry’s important conferences, small gatherings and dinners where CIOs and investment teams can talk candidly about how AI is changing their work, and visits to the cities where our clients and future clients are.

What you’ll do

  • Build our presence at the conferences and industry events that matter to investment leaders
  • Host dinners, roundtables and small gatherings that are genuinely valuable to the people who attend
  • Plan visits to the cities where our clients and future clients work, together with our CEO and sales team
  • Own positioning and messaging, the website, client stories, the newsletter, webinars and social channels, working with our content writer

What we’re looking for

  • Events and field marketing. You have planned and run conferences, dinners or events yourself, and you can show us what came out of them.
  • Relationships with senior people. You are at ease with CIOs and senior decision makers, and they trust you. You know that in a relationship-driven industry, you earn attention by being useful.
  • Hands-on. You do the work yourself rather than directing agencies, and you measure yourself on results.
  • Range. Field marketing comes first, but you can run the digital side well enough to support it.
  • Drive. You want to build something from nothing and own the result. You move fast, take initiative, and don’t wait to be told.

This role is about people and relationships more than brand campaigns or writing. You will be the person who brings our community together.

You do not need a background in institutional finance, though it helps. You do need to be curious about it and willing to learn it quickly. We will teach you the domain.

What Finpilot offers

  • Fully covered health benefits (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Direct collaboration with founders and leadership from day one
  • The chance to build Finpilot’s marketing function from zero, with a product and reputation that already work
  • A front-row seat to how the most sophisticated institutions in finance adopt AI
  • A small, talent-dense team where your work has immediate and visible impact

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of institutional finance and frontier AI, at the moment an entire industry is changing its software. If you want to build the community around that change, we’d like to talk.
